How to Host the Perfect Family Friendly Game Day Spread

This post is sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

We all love game days in our house for different reasons. My husband loves watching the game. Ronan loves yelling at the TV with his daddy. And then us girls (me and Ev) like to hit the stores to shop for appetizers! We hit up our local Walmart to stock up on some favorites. Don’t I have just the cutest little shopping helper?

When I got home, Ronan wanted to help his mama cook, so we got right to work prepping our favorite Tyson® and Hillshire Farm® apps- Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips, Tyson® Any’tizers ® Snacks (the boneless buffalo are our fave!), and Hillshire Farm® Lit’l Smokies® Smoked Sausage for some yummy pigs in a blanket. Ro had all hands on deck (literally ha) and helped put the chicken onto the baking sheets and even rolled up some of the pigs in a blanket for me.

While daddy watched the game, we tossed everything into the oven, set the timer, and waited for it to be ready to eat!

Just in time for halftime, we all crowded around the food on our football platter and dug in. Ronan ofcourse got his own little toddler friendly plate of the goodies. We enjoyed game day even more today, thanks to Tyson® products and Hillshire Farm®products (and Walmart!) filling up our bellies. Yum, yum!

Great Grandma + Great Granddaughter Get Their Ears Pierced

My grandma, Mary Ann, is 79 years old. My daughter, Everleigh Ann, is 5 months old. Yesterday we made a very special memory and took the two of them together to get their ears pierced! Enjoy these photos from a moment I will never forget.

Staying Healthy with Two Littles During the Winter Months

Hey y'all! Welp, Christmas is over almost as fast as it began (or at least it feels that way!). But you know what isn't over? Winter. And colds. Especialllllllly with the little ones. I don't know about you, but it seems like my littles are somehow sick all winter long. Which is why I am all about stocking up on the latest and greatest must-haves to keep those germs at bay as best I can. My number one go to? KLEENEX. Did you know that Kleenex kills 99.9% of cold and flu viruses in the tissue? The active ingredients in the middle layer disrupt the viruses’ protective coating and kill 99.9% of cold and flu viruses in the tissue within 15 minutes. Say whaaaaa? I don't know about you, but I like those odds.

Naturally, I headed up to my local Walmart (seriously, when I say local, I mean it is a 5 minute walk from my house.... butttttt since it's 5 degrees and snowing out, we're just gonna stick to driving this time of year. Or ordering online via Walmart, because hello, free 2 day shipping, yes please! Head to www.walmart.com to order yours today!).

I stocked up on several boxes of the classic Kleenex, because sick or not, you can never really have too many in your home. I'm even teaching Ro the importance of blowing his nose (and his sister's apparently, his idea... oh boy, haha) to keep those germs away.

Even Ro's new superhero member of the family is a fan of Kleenex
