Organically loving your team is really important for sustainable growth and building relationships.What you are doing is having a servant leader mindset by pouring into your people. There are many ways to do this. You can cheer them on social media, send congrats happy mail, in constant communication about business, but also about life. Did Jenn just have a baby?? Reach out, message her and remember her babies name for next time you see her. We are in the business of relationships and when your members feel seen, loved and cared for they are less likely to quit or become frustrated with the business and comfortable to share with you about any roadblocks and all the wins! I love the quote from Maya Angelou, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” 

Put systems in place so every month you are consistently taking care of your members, especially your business builders. More on this below.

*Go to Etsy and find some digital graphics that fit your vibe for Young Living. Work with the small business owner to custom make your own. Examples being first time kit sale members (seen and cheered for the first time they sell a kit), rank advancement cards with a custom note on the back, rank advancement gift. Take the time to write down what every star, senior star, executive, silver gets. This creates a system that will make it  easier for you, promise. 

*Once the month closes, go to the oily trends app and see who your top enrollers are and send them a hand written card congratulating them and if you want a small gift to go with like rollers, stickers, small spray bottles, wood diffusers, and account credit etc.

*Sold a kit? Send some educational welcome mail to them, congratulating them on joining your community and leaving an open door for communication as they dive into their kit. If they feel loved and supported from day one you have a higher probability they will dive into the business with you.

*I encourage you to host a get together for local business builders once a week. It can be at a park, your home, a coffee shop, anywhere that fits the culture of your team and will get people to show up. Pick a day and time that you can commit to weekly, routine is key here. Sometimes you might have 15 people show up and other times you might have 1 or none. I have learned that no matter who shows up there is always intentional time to connect. When I have 1 person show up it makes me jazzed because I get to work 1 on 1 with them going over their downline, talk specific goals, roadblocks and connect. If 15 people show up we are planning for group events, like DIY parties, a business get together or planning for the next YL trip like Convention. 

*Host a day event for your team (like a small retreat). Prep your day with knowledgeable things they can learn and take away for their business. 

Some ideas to have on your event day:

Do some positive affirmation exercises

Work through sections of Moving Mountains

Pick some business topics and work through The Road to Success workbook

Walk through the Virtual Office and what you do every month

Smart goals and how to make your goals a reality

As a team what 3 things would you like to do together the next 3 months

Have a few of your leaders take a topic and speak about it at the event. It helps build confidence for them to share in front of people ad build leadership skills

I have hosted multiple business day events and 2 destination retreats and the bonding it creates with your team is beyond rewarding. It builds genuine connection with like minded people and in turn everyone is inspired and businesses flourish. 

Don’t have a local team yet? No worries! There are still plenty of ways to connect. Up your relationship game by doing 2-3 members a week on an hour long facetime. Seeing someone digitally face to face and being able to walk through goals, their OGV, legs and rank goals really encourages them and lights a fire with a vision. If 2-3 sounds like to much, then start with 1. Do your homework prior and look over their downline, OGV and what rank they are working towards. Come to the facetime with some ideas and direction to not waste time.

Monthly zooms with your team is another great way to connect. It can be a business one, an oil 101, a trivia night, a 15 minute inspirational Monday zoom. That’s the beauty of this business, you can create whatever vibe/connection you want! So go for it!
