Social media is a must for any business, especially in this modern world, and it is such a great tool for connection! There are a lot of wonderful ways that you can use social media to generate community and engagement with your audience - big or small. And a large audience is not necessary for business success! Here are 90 days worth of ideas to get you started (or to come back to if you’re feeling stuck!) from social media guru and Royal Crown Diamond Annie Hauser.
90 Days of Social Media Prompts (from Annie Hauser)
1. First up, find your hero products. What oils or products do you have stories around that you can share? Search for these products in the app for more education, courses, photos and graphics and save them on your phone. Then choose one of these and share your story around it, making sure to stay compliant with your words.
2. Share your diffuser pumpin’ and share what you are diffusing today! There are SO many diffuser blends, graphics and pictures in the app for you to share throughout these 90 days. Every month there is a new set that is seasonal! Search by oil, blend, or diffuser name if you have a preference. Save your favorite graphics, photos, etc and put them into an album on your phone for easy access.
3. Screenshot of DM convo you’re having (white out their name!) but share someone who is LOVING something you helped them grab! Share a landing page to that product in your stories. The more your people get on the app the more opportunity for education for them!
4. Download your favorite IG Story graphics from the app and save them on your phone! NingXia Red stories, Thieves ditch & switch stories, seasonal stock ups, children and babies… all of it and more is there for you. Create a folder on your phone so you always have access to these and share away! If you’re using them in stories, make sure to show your face in between slides talking about what you love and how it has impacted your life!
5. Anytime you are feeling stuck - grab one of these and EDUCATE ON IT! Use the graphics, or just rewrite the info and how you use the product. You can even link to the landing page of a resource, and it will have your unique member ID. The more your people get on the app the more opportunity for education for them!
6. Share your favorite oil to use as perfume.
7. Screenshot of something funny. Who doesn’t love a meme!
8. Ask your audience to vote on some polls of what you should do that day! Ex: this or that for dinner, what movie to watch, etc.
9. A detailed tutorial teaching something your ideal customer frequently struggles with - include an oil or YL product as one of the solutions!
10. Ask your audience for product/book/podcast recommendations. Share what you’re currently reading. Don’t have a book? Check out the monthly book recommendation in the app!
11. The first thing you tell people to do when they open their kit (Did you forget about the stress away compartment? Did you not drink Ningxia for 6 months like me and wish you had?) OR the first thing you ordered from YL.
12. What are your biggest challenges right now? How are you working through them? Include an oil or YL product as part of the solution.
13. Five ways to help kids (or yourself) focus! (Find education on this in the resources section! Search focus.)
14. Share a cause that’s really important to you.
15. A little thing you do that makes a big difference in making your day better. (For example, I leave my coffee cup by the espresso maker in the morning, and I leave out my supplements the night before so I remember to take them!)
16. Share your coffee! What do you put in it? Or just show your coffee in the morning with your diffuser running in the back. DO NOT OVERTHINK IT!
17. Review a product you use WITH your oils (diffuser bracelets, jade rollers, spray bottles, cute oil bags, oil shelves).
18. A peek inside your supplement cabinet. Grab a quick sentence or two about one of your supplements from the resources section OR talk about the monthly supplement spotlight in the app.
19. Ask your audience to share a fun fact about themselves
20. Google "quote about health." Pick your favorite one. Elaborate on it, adding personal anecdotes. Discuss YL only lightly.
21. What time in your life makes you wonder, “What was I thinking?” (Bonus points for a photo!!)

24. Do a mirror shot of an outfit you love (encourage your followers to do the same and tag you)

26. A list of things you used to buy at Target, but now buy through Young Living. You don’t have to leave your house or wear pants holllllla. One stop shop, healthier, and Target ain't never gave nobody 24% back, am I right? Grab a ditch and switch graphic to share and talk through these products in your stories.
27. Ask followers their fave ways to use YL...and then share the screen shots!

29. Share THREE of your fave people to follow!! And why!
30. How do you deal when you are overwhelmed?
31. Share a use for an oil you would never expect. We keep geranium in our emergency bags and mice hate peppermint!
32. Your top 5 emotional support oils/products (Some might be non-YL and that's okay! For example, when I need to step back and protect my heart and mind - I use Joy over my heart, I put on my playlist of inspiring music, smudge my house with sage, light an unscented beeswax candle, get into child’s pose, and just breathe.Then I lay in my bed with a trashy, mindless, old-school TV show. 33. Bless the mess! Show your behind the scenes or real life mess.
34. Share the Life Steps App, a link to a page in the app your followers would like (HELLO Thieves landing page or KidScents page!) or a free resource to help people learn more about YL!!
35. A list of crunchy things you said you'd never do, but now do. Invite others to chime in with their list.
36. Ditch & switch - what are some (or even one) product that you have swapped out for a YL product with cleaner ingredients. Why do you want to be more mindful of the ingredients in the products you’re using around your home? Again, you can share the Thieves Collection Spotlight link from the app with your unique member ID. The more your people get on the app the more opportunity for education for them!
37. Share 5 things you’re grateful for! Make one of them centered around wellness and overall well being, and drop in one of your favorite YL tips.
38. Choose a product and tell us why you love it (not “it’s awesome!” - but why do we need it? What happens when our bodies don’t have B vitamins? Do we get tired? What body systems does B vitamins support? What Bs are in Super B? Ooh it also has nutmeg, how does that help us? How does it make you feel? ADD VALUE) (Search these things in the app for TONS of quotes to use or make it your own.)
39. Share a fun and easy DIY gift! One thing I LOVE making that's so easy is DIY Bath Salts or a Stress Away roller. TONS of good DIYs in the app for you to share!
40. Share your family’s favorite meal!! Bonus points if you can sneak in a drop of vitality oil somewhere in there. Some of my faves: Thieves in my French toast or pancake batter, Ningxia Syrup, Basil in tomato sauce, Rosemary in Soup, Nutmeg in Muffins, Oregano in sauce, Lime in your beer! Or guac! Or pad-thai! Lemon adding in your baked goods

Educate them and bring them along with you!
46. Throw on some Valor, open up a Q&A right on your facebook page or IG Live and ask if anyone has any oil questions for you.
47. Open your bag and do a video or post of things you keep in your purse or car
48. Your top tips for beauty, include YL and one or 2 non-YL tips (like clay mask mixed with frank, cucumber slices on your eyes, etc)
49. Share 3 stories that people can vote on (using the poll feature at the top of the screen)... This can be anything, don’t overthink it. Share two photos of different house styles, coffee recipes, hairstyles, seasons, countries, whatever!!! When people vote on your stories, or interact with your stories in any way, it boosts them to be seen by more people!

89. Show. Yo. Face. Jump on and talk about your morning or evening skincare routine. Don’t be a robot- if you use some other clean products in addition to YL, don’t be afraid to share those too- so much more relatable!!
